A Chartered Accountant by profession and Member of Institute of Directors, Cyril brings a wealth of experience to the Board, having previously benn Audit Partner with Ernst & Young (EY) in Dublin. He is a Director of several public, private and charitable companies. Cyril is a Member of the Audit Committee of The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission.
Commenting on the appointment, Deputy Chairman Michael McHugh stated,
”We are very pleased to have such an experienced Chairman as Cyril join the Board, especially given his track record in both the Accountancy and Advisory sectors, and his breath of experience in governing Boards.”
In taking up his new role as Chair of Payac, Cyril commented,
”I am delighted to be joining the Board of Payac at an important stage in its growth. I have huge admiration for the Credit Union sector in Ireland, and in particular what Credit Unions are delivering for their members through their membership of Payac. I look forward to leading the Board and the strategy of Payac, at this very exciting time.”
