Job Description – Assistant Accountant

Overview

Payac is seeking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to work with the Finance Team in the provision of finance support to the business, including the preparation of management reporting and statutory accounts, cash management and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Accountant will support the Finance Team in the delivery of the following tasks:

  • Management Reporting
  • Statutory Reporting
  • Data Analytics
  • Cash Management
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll

The successful candidate should ideally have the following attributes:

  • Three or more years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to critically analyse complex data, coupled with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Superior MS Office skills, with advanced use of MS Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Preparation of financial statements.
  • Ability to work with initiative and as part of an agile team.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Occasional travel throughout Ireland required and work outside standard working hours.
